Means the replacement of one passport for a new one. A passport is renewed when either its validity has expired (more that 10 years), or has no more free pages, or has been reported stolen or lost.

Requirements:

Expired or full passport.
Complete the application form (P1)
Four (4) photographs, recently taken, passport size.
Venezuelan Identity Card and/or birth certificate.
If the applicant is a Venezuelan by naturalization, he/she must present original and one (1) photocopy of the Official Gazette or of the Constancy where the granting of the nationality is recorded.

Only when the passport is requested for the first time, and only for under 18 years old. The minor applicant together with his parents or legal authorized person must come to the Consulate General to put his signature and fingerprints on the new passport.

If the passport has been stolen or lost, additionally the original Police report must be presented, together with -if possible-, a photocopy of the passport stolen.

Bank receipt of the deposit of EIGHTY US DOLLARS (US$80.00) in the account of the CONSULATE GENERAL OF VENEZUELA.
